If we all mark in INK pen that our vote cannot be erased. Everyone take own INK pen to election booths. Pass this on to everyone you know as soon as possible.
Well, it’s a good thought but I don’t think we need go that far. Every polling place has scrutineers from all candidates and members of the public, as well as AEC staff, so it would be hard to change ballots without *someone* noticing.
Instead of taking pens IN, how about we change the rules to keep rubbers OUT? It would give the polling place officials something important to do (empty your pockets please), and would be entertaining for the punters waiting to get to a booth, trying to predict who would be caught with contraband Staedtler erasers? Is that art gum in your top pocket …
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, polling day, always such fun
Cheers
“The AEC are required by law to provide pencils in polling booths. Pencils don’t run out, they can be stored between elections and they work better in tropical areas. You can use either a pen or a pencil. The security of your vote is guaranteed as the storage and counting of ballots are tightly scrutinised.”
I will be using a pen for my vote, I don’t care how well it is scrutinized, you only need one shonky person to do the dishonest. After all those filers should not have gone out but they did. I do not trust the liberals at all I feel they will stoop to any level to get what they want and they are desperate now.
